TNR Global is accepting applications for a PHP/MySQl Web Developer
position. Most of the work is telecommuting, but some meetings are
required in Hadley, MA.

Experience/Technical Requirements:
-- 3+ years of experience with both Internet scripting
(PHP/python/perl Javascript) and markup languages (HTML, CSS, XML).
-- 1+ years of experience designing, maintaining and modifying
SQL/MySQL queries, tables and databases.
-- Demonstrable skill with most Linux/Unix operating system
commands/utilities. Ability to read and write shell scripts, use regex
and build pipeline based procedures. Understanding of
users/groups/permissions, intermachine tools like ssh, scp and rsync.
-- A working knowledge of object-oriented programming, design
patterns, dependency-based build and source control systems, and other
programming tools. Has experience in work using various Class
libraries.
-- Strong proficiency in dynamic HTML and cross-platform DHTML issues.
(HTML/ CSS/ JavaScript/ Ajax/ DOM).

Desired Skills/Experience:
-- Experience building application specific classes.
-- Familiarity with MVC design patterns, template rendering engines
and writing code that interacts with RESTful and XMLRPC web-service
APIs.
-- Deep understanding of how to write secure, stable web application
and service APIs that safe-guards against cross-site scripting, SQL
Injection and other security concerns.

Overview:

Primarily responsible for Enterprise WebSphere Application Server (WAS) deployment including; system architecture, design, system installation and configuration. Perform Application Server troubleshooting and maintenance, and conduct and deliver enterprise-wide Application Server analysis and deploy recommendations on the Application Server.


Responsibilities:

* Analyze system and business user requirements for Application Server implementation and deployment;

Overview:

We're hiring! We are currently in need of a front-end website developer.

We're a small custom development house, with new custom Content Management Systems about half our current work, and half ongoing feature development for existing clients. We're conveniently located right downtown in Amherst, MA overlooking the Common.

XHTML/CSS and recent web development experience is necessary. A design background, Ajax, Javascript and/or advanced CSS-fu are definite pluses. We're looking for someone excited about the modern web, and the exact details of your résumé are less important than if you are "smart and get things done."

Primary responsibilities will include:
Dynamic front-end web development using XHTML and CSS.
Updates, new features and maintenance for existing web applications, and new development to client specifications.
Thoroughly testing code written by yourself, as well as others.

Web Designer

Mount Holyoke College is seeking an experienced Web Designer who will be responsible for creating and executing web designs and site building in Drupal 7. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Web Development in the Office of Communications. She/he will collaborate with the College Web Team to ensure correct implementation of the UI front-end and user interaction, and with the creative team to make certain visual design ideas are faithfully interpreted.

Responsibilities include converting designs, style tiles, and wireframes from Photoshop to Drupal 7 templates, themes, and features, using HTML5, CSS3, and Adobe Creative Suite. The successful candidate must also be able: to apply best design practices; to actively engage in website design and user interface design for mobile devices and web-based applications; and be proficient in cross-browser and cross-platform rendering issues, W3C standards, Section 508, content management systems, and all aspects of web design production. 

He/she must have experience in both visual design and coding and be able to understand, leverage, and advise on best web practices by maintaining a good understanding of target audience needs and UI trends. She/he must be able to work in a team, be willing to learn new technologies quickly, and keep abreast of new Drupal modules and features.

The successful candidate must be proficient in Drupal 7 site building, HTML5, CSS3, and Adobe Creative Suite. She/he is knowledgeable in IA and UI development; has the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while simultaneously functioning as part of a team; and has a solid understanding of practical benefits and limitations of Internet and mobile technologies. He/she has experience working with a development team, version control system (GIT), Drush, PHP, web analytic tools, creating reusable templates for email campaigns, and marketing and branding concepts, along with the ability to write and speak effectively. Experience in higher education is a bonus. A minimum of 3 years experience in professional front-end web development and a B.A. degree are required.
