Vision 2020 Health Care Project

Vision 2020: Applying a Project Management Approach to Becoming the Nation's Healthiest Community
Presented by
Rebecca Osborne, MBA
&
Yvonne Goldsberry, PhD, MPH, MSUP

Ever wonder how far reaching Project Management principles can apply? As practitioners of Project Management, we think of the principles and use them in industries such as Information Technology, Construction and Engineering; but, what about Health Care? Join the Keene PMI Chapter for an in-depth review of the Vision 2020 Project as presented by Rebecca Osborne and Dr. Yvonne Goldsberry.
Ms. Osborne and Dr Goldsberry will share how the Vision 2020 Project Team is approaching a multi-year, community-based initiative and provide high level information about Vision 2020 for the local PMI audience. The presentation will cover topics such as articulating the driving vision, building sponsorship & commitment, defining a phased approach to a multi-year effort, building connections to key stakeholders and constituencies, communication, change management efforts, planning for long-term sustainability and adapting for turnover and transition.

Yvonne Goldsberry is Senior Director of Community Health at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene. Dr. Goldsberry is responsible for oversight of the Community Health Department, community benefit reporting process, and the "healthiest community" initiative. Dr. Goldsberry is a graduate of Brown University. She received her Masters degrees in public health and urban planning from Columbia University and PhD in Public Policy from George Washington University.
Rebecca Osborne is Manager of Organization Development at Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene. Ms. Osborne's focus is on the "people" component of organizational success. In her role, she works with staff and physicians to increase their effectiveness on the job and to develop organizational capacity for change.
